Soon, we will begin reading Gary Paulsen's novel, Dogsong. Use this picture, of an eskimo family and their dogs, to create a diary entry of their day. Answer questions like what are they doing, where are they, why are they there, when is this, and who are they?

  1. The people of Anaktuvak have way different ways of life than we do. They have to relly on hunting to get food. While we have grocery stores and a big food supply. But they do have internet connection and cable TV so they don't have it that bad.

  2. I belive that those village peoples and our life are different but the same. I belive this because they have T.V., Computer, and local markets but some people are different because they still survive on meat and clothing from carabou. This is how I think the village people and our llifes are the same and different.

  3. i think that our lives are the same because they have technology like computers and electricity and stuff. Our lives are different though because they still have their old customs like wearing carabou clothing, living off meat, etc.

  4. The lives of the Anaktuvak tribe is very different from ours. They don't have things we take for granted like faucets, air conditioners,
and super markets. They have to hunt their own food, But in many ways the tribe are alike because of cultural diffusion. They have lots of technology such as computers and T.V. yet they still wear deerskin and live off meat. My opinion is that they are alike in many ways but very different as well
